As we approach the end of August, and school goes back into session, it is time to consider the various options for a children’s winter program.
In the past folks have suggested the possibility of a musical program to take the place of the pageant. I am including a survey below that I hope you will reflect on and fill out.
The Survey asks whether you believe your children will take part in the program, whether pageant or musical, and asks for your preference among the options we have (linked below).
It also asks whether you would be interested in helping. We need several folks who can coordinate, and begin the planning/materials gathering process in September, so that things are not pushed.

The third option
The third option might be a Lessons & Carols service in Advent, either on a Sunday afternoon or one night during the week, in which the children could sing one song, and maybe start or contribute to two others that the congregation could join in on.
