2006 marked the 100th anniversary of the birth of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, the German clergyman and theologian who plotted to assassinate Adolf Hitler. The video is a brief introduction to Bonhoeffer’s life, from birth to theological formation to the plots to kill Hitler that resulted in Bonhoeffer’s own execution. The clip is taken from Heroes of Conscience: A Tribute to Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a production of Trinity Television & New Media narrated by Bill Moyers.
